Sustainly Receives the Inge Aasted Grant 2025

Aasted is proud to announce that Sustainly has been selected as the first-ever recipient of the Inge Aasted Grant – a new annual tradition supporting people and ideas that help shape a more sustainable, inclusive, and innovative world.

The official award ceremony took place on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 at Aasted’s headquarters in Farum, with Inge and Lars Aasted present to celebrate this special occasion.

In its first year, the grant attracted 51 applications from a wide range of sectors, all demonstrating strong commitment to developing innovative and sustainable solutions. After an initial screening by our Sustainability and Strategy departments, six finalists were evaluated by a review panel.

Selection Process – From 51 Applicants to One Winner

Based on 12 evaluation criteria and in-depth discussions, the panel unanimously recommended Sustainly as this year’s recipient – a decision approved by Aasted’s Board.

Some applicants, while outside the original scope of the grant, impressed us so much that we have initiated discussions about other ways to support or collaborate with them.

About Sustainly

Sustainly is a Danish tech startup founded by Frederik Denning and Vladimirs Mihnovics. Their digital platform simplifies Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) – analyses of a product’s environmental impact across its entire lifecycle – making them more accessible, affordable, and actionable for companies.

With funding from the Inge Aasted Grant, Sustainly will develop an AI-powered assistant to help companies create their own LCA models using existing data.

Aasted will follow Sustainly’s progress closely over the coming year, maintaining a strong dialogue and exploring how their solution can be applied in practice to support more sustainable industry.

Congratulations to Sustainly – the inaugural recipient of the Inge Aasted Grant!
