Aasted Recognized Among Europe’s Climate Leaders 2026

Our commitment to sustainability

Aasted has been recognized among Europe’s Climate Leaders 2026 by the Financial Times and Statista, highlighting the company’s progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

With a score of 71.1, Aasted ranks among the companies demonstrating the strongest progress in emissions reduction and is placed fifth among the Danish companies included in this year’s ranking.

Europe’s Climate Leaders is an annual ranking that identifies companies making significant progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The 2026 edition evaluates companies based primarily on reductions in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions and emissions intensity between 2019 and 2024, alongside selected climate-related commitments and disclosures.

For Aasted, the recognition reflects continued efforts to reduce emissions from operations and energy consumption while maintaining focus on innovation and long-term business development.

While the ranking is not a sustainability certification, it provides independent recognition of the progress achieved through Aasted’s climate efforts and the direction the company has chosen.

“As a company serving the global chocolate, bakery and confectionery industries, we recognize the importance of continuously improving our environmental performance. Being included among Europe’s Climate Leaders is an encouraging milestone that reflects the commitment and dedication of colleagues across the organization.”

Sustainability remains an important part of Aasted’s business strategy. The company continues to focus on reducing emissions, improving operational efficiency and supporting customers with innovative solutions designed to create value throughout the food production industry.

Aasted would like to thank all employees and partners who contribute to these efforts and help drive continuous improvement across the organization.
